Ideas to start a social enterprise in the majority have one common roadblock, funding. Non-profits organizations specifically, struggle to find ways of rising income or sustain what they have without any external assistance. Grants and donations although a short-term program become the main source of income of many organization struggling financially; however, once these programmes cease, the organization’s impact stops. This week's main idea was the use of one of the best tools for seeking solutions which are Design Thinking. Through this method, the focus is on the people we are creating the solution for and the method itself assists innovator in finding the best sustainable solutions by observing three phases: inspiration, ideation, and implementation. The main activity of the organization is to employ women for sewing jobs. SCC revenues originate from contracts but highly depending upon grants and donations.
