W01 Enrichment One in Thine Hand

In his book entitled Standing for Something, President Gordon B. Hinckley said “I relish any opportunity to acquire knowledge. ” The voice of the Prophet is the same as the voice of God. As we strive to provide for our survival through faith, men and women are expected to be skilled enough both in the things of this world and of the Kingdom of God in order to conform with the absolute truth. These truths can be reached either through observation or revelation. ·          Communication - Success in any relationship or family is based on trust and honesty; these two enhance effective communication. Family members must speak freely to anyone and the family council is the best platform for family members to address their issues and ideas. ·          Gender – Gender is an essential characteristic of our identity. We are either male or female despite the fact that nowadays we have those who categorized themselves as LGBTQ. As children of our Heavenly Father, He sees us as pure souls and instruments in His hands, therefore parents and societies need to teach children to understand their roles according to their gender.
