W04 Essay Perceive the Elements of a Film (Aristotle's elements)

W04 Essay Perceive the Elements of a Film ( Aristotle's elements)   Plot: What can you say about the plot in this little excerpt? A lonely man who probably didn’t have friends living in a castle protected by a camera and surrounded by fences with a sign “No Trespassing.” Before his sudden death, he whispered a name or word “Rosebud” then dropped the snow globe that rolled down the steps. Then comes a lady to fix his body on the bed and cover him.   . Character: Describe what you know of the main character. In this performance, the most leading instruments are woodwind instruments such as the bassoon (00:02), oboe (00:03), and flute (00:12); string instruments such as violin (00:19) and louder sound of a bass (00:40) can also be heard. The music sounds irregular, going through different pitches. This happens by not the woodwind instruments alone but by the combination of the various instruments which affects me as a listener into feeling playful and light. While these instruments provide a very pleasant, light, and overall joyous music leading to meditation, this beautiful piece of music is mainly consonant; it fluctuates smoothly and has some neat characteristics. The music uses the 4 beats in a bar a...
